ADVANCED Close Protection Officer (CPO)

Once you have certified as a CPO or prior to attending a CPO course, OPPS will introduce skills one can add to their resume: advance planning, techniques, strategies, locks and immobilisation.

Training also assists with:

  • Threat identification

  • Spatial awareness

  • Understanding body mechanics to utilize less force and energy to achieve the same result

  • Neutralising a threat within 2.5 seconds or less

  • Working around a vehicle

  • Efficient transitions, weapon and body movement
